Food for thought...

I was jonesing for a lox bagel w/ some capers tonight so I stopped off at a bakery near my place and I noticed this adorable, innocent couple in front of me.  They were so coy with one another, so playfully flirting and sadly enough the only thought that came to me was, "they are going to rip each others hearts out eventually, be gutted over it and ruin each other in such a way that they will never be capable of loving anyone the same."

I know- I am a miserable bitch.  

2155.) Sometimes I wonder if we only get one chance at real love. Maybe I messed mine up, didn't try to fix it hard enough before giving up, because it's starting to feel like I'll never find love again.

I second this notion...

humans dont see themselves as human, they see themselves as individual people. Which we are, but in the same ways, we are not. a person is not only a person, but a human, a part of something much bigger than just their own lives, but in humanity itself. we all have our own personalities and small things that make everyone unique, but in the bigger picture, we are all humans looking for the same thing, love. if people would stop trying to see themselves as different from everyone else, we would see that we really are more alike than is comfortable to imagine. we have the same secrets, the same fears, the same needs. the only thing keeping everyone apart is the desire to be different, special. people try to hold on to anything they can to keep themselves from blending in, but we are all the same, and eventually, we are all just going to have to accept that and let it be gray.
