I try to compensate my lack of love with coffee cake ice cream and a bottle of ten dollar wine, I rock the cowgirl blues.
"There is a romance to traveling. It’s as if, when you leave your hometown, you also leave yourself behind. You are free to become whatever, whoever you care to imagine. No one can say, “Oh, it’s so-and-so, the mom” or “So-and-so the underachiever” or “So-and-so the not-nearly-as-beautiful-as-her-older-sister.” You’re a stranger, not just to everyone else, but to yourself. You are wide open for self discovery. And, perhaps because of that, you are more open to the rest of the world and its stories."

I want a bench!

My favorite escape...

Make me beans on toast and a nice cup of tea,

"Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that’s all. You can’t see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it."

I love her...

"and this
unanswered question
lingers on
to this later date
can i resign
to never knowing
if i was your one that got away"

It does stuff for people.

Swoon Worthy..

Die, Die, Die.
The best way to get over your troubles is to go out and find new troubles.

There's a hole where your soul should be...

'Tis a glorious film...I could watch it makes it that much better because I saw the same things whilst in Paris.  Paris, Je'taime.

God Save The Queen

Dirty Little Chanel Girl...

Food for thought...

I was jonesing for a lox bagel w/ some capers tonight so I stopped off at a bakery near my place and I noticed this adorable, innocent couple in front of me.  They were so coy with one another, so playfully flirting and sadly enough the only thought that came to me was, "they are going to rip each others hearts out eventually, be gutted over it and ruin each other in such a way that they will never be capable of loving anyone the same."

I know- I am a miserable bitch.
2155.) Sometimes I wonder if we only get one chance at real love. Maybe I messed mine up, didn't try to fix it hard enough before giving up, because it's starting to feel like I'll never find love again.

Glam...Fab...Major LOVE

My new favorite blog:

Book Worm

Prettiest bookstore I've ever seen...I'd love to buy my next book there.

I wish you...

I wish you happiness rooted not in materialism, but in self-reliance and in gratitude.

I wish you success, determined by how you affect those around you, above you and especially beneath you.

I wish you never to relinquish your curiosity and wonder at the world; this wide-eyed amazement must be replenished as soon as you feel yourself drained from the process of “growing up.”

I wish you knowledge and the ability to discern what is important, true, and moral.

I wish you perseverance for never-ending making of a better tomorrow.

I wish you never to forget the value of empathy, imagination and compassion.

I wish you many wide and deep experiences— those that shake up your supposed beliefs, your supposed fears, and your supposed successes.

I wish you hardships, but I also wish you resilience.

I wish you love.

I second this notion...

humans dont see themselves as human, they see themselves as individual people. Which we are, but in the same ways, we are not. a person is not only a person, but a human, a part of something much bigger than just their own lives, but in humanity itself. we all have our own personalities and small things that make everyone unique, but in the bigger picture, we are all humans looking for the same thing, love. if people would stop trying to see themselves as different from everyone else, we would see that we really are more alike than is comfortable to imagine. we have the same secrets, the same fears, the same needs. the only thing keeping everyone apart is the desire to be different, special. people try to hold on to anything they can to keep themselves from blending in, but we are all the same, and eventually, we are all just going to have to accept that and let it be gray.

ARRGGGH, I hate when life gets toooooo busy to update my blog.
