humans dont see themselves as human, they see themselves as individual people. Which we are, but in the same ways, we are not. a person is not only a person, but a human, a part of something much bigger than just their own lives, but in humanity itself. we all have our own personalities and small things that make everyone unique, but in the bigger picture, we are all humans looking for the same thing, love. if people would stop trying to see themselves as different from everyone else, we would see that we really are more alike than is comfortable to imagine. we have the same secrets, the same fears, the same needs. the only thing keeping everyone apart is the desire to be different, special. people try to hold on to anything they can to keep themselves from blending in, but we are all the same, and eventually, we are all just going to have to accept that and let it be gray.

It is so funny, I was packing (again) and I came across ancient pictures and it is so weird to think that nearly every picture was with someone from the past, someone who I am no longer in communication with. It makes me feel an array of emotions, it makes me wonder why it was time for them to exit my life and in the bigger picture what purpose they served...whether it be for better or worse. Looking at these pictures of past friends.boyfriends.etc. makes me also realize how I am constantly changing and that I am no longer the same. Life is constantly progressing and although it is at times hard to accept change, in retrospect with out any of those people, I would not be who I am today.

3 out of five thousand pictures. The Eiffel Tour was simply breathtaking, simply beautiful in every way possible. I went at dusk and stayed until dark so I was able to see it in both the day and the night. It was almost an emotional experience of sorts because it is something I have wanted to do for a very long time and to see its beauty standing there in front of me was magical. The flats surrounding the grounds were needless to say, breathless and to think of the money that must sleep between those walls. Gasp. Unfortunately, the day I went to see the Eiffel Tour, the staff was on strike, so I was unable to ride the elevator to the observation deck but nevertheless was pleased with just being in its presence. Ah, l-o-v-e.

Tower of London

I saw the Tower of London this afternoon. I took a tour, which I found quite ere in a way. The history that lies between the walls, the amount of people that were executed there and the royalty that has walked the narrow stair ways absolutely amazes me to the core. My Nan told me that the ravens that sit upon the garden inside the Tower of London have a superstition amongst the British people. Apparently if they ever fly away from the lawn, it will be the fall of England (but then I found out their wings have been clipped) haha. It is bazaar to think that Ann Boleyn was be-headed there, they said they found her remains under the floor boards years and years later because she was executed so she didn't have a proper burial. The crown jewels were a sight for sore eyes, I am of the belief they are all replicas though, there is no way they hold the real deal just behind a few panes of glass. Interesting stuff, anyway...I've had a long day of touring and I just crawled in from the pub it's just after 3am and I am nackard. Cheers.

1) Sometimes I think I was much cooler when I was 16/17 rather than 23. I had an edge and didn't give a toss about anything. Music was my life, I lived for gigs and hung out with bands backstage. I was a total punk that loved Chanel.

2) I am cold...and done exploring for the day. Plus Easter annoys the piss out of me. I am not a believer in the meaning behind Easter and not to mention, I hate rabbits.

A sigh of relief for I am in the most settling place I have ever been. My dual citizenship is underway and I will be back to live in lovely London.
